Gap Ridge is LandCorp’s premier Industrial Estate for the northwest, consisting of 240 hectares which will be subdivided into 114 fully serviced industrial allotments varying in size from 0.5 to 15 hectares.
Planned to accommodate logistics industries, the Estate has wide roads designed to accommodate triple road train movements and will have a shared-use Road Train Assembly area.
The civil works components for the construction of the Gap Ridge Industrial Estate from the commencement of earthworks in 2010 to completion of Stages 1, 2 and 3 in 2014 amounted to $100 million.
A further $9 million was expended by LandCorp on the extension of high voltage underground power to the site and relocation of existing overhead power distribution mains through works contracted directly with Horizon Power.
